Returns & Refunds Policy

At Maple Leaf Electrical Supplies, we want you to shop with confidence. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, we are here to help.

1. Returns

  • Returns must be requested within 7 days of delivery.
  • Products must be returned in their original packaging and in a resalable condition.
  • All returns must include the original invoice or proof of purchase.
  • A handling fee may apply to cover restocking and processing costs.
  • Returns are subject to inspection and approval by Maple Leaf Electrical Supplies.
  • No cut cables may be returned for refund or credit.

⚠️ Please note: Special orders and certain electrical items may not be eligible for return unless faulty.

2. How to Initiate a Return

To request a return, please follow these steps:

  1. Email us at sales@mapleleafelectrical.co.za with your order number, reason for return, and photos (if applicable).
  2. Wait for our approval and return instructions before shipping the item back.
  3. Return shipping is at the customer’s expense, unless the return is due to a defective or incorrect item.
  4. Once received, we will inspect the item and process the return accordingly.

3. Refunds & Replacements

  • If an item is defective or damaged on delivery, please notify us in writing within 7 days of receipt.
  • Once the return is approved, we will, at our discretion:
    • Replace the product at no extra cost, or

    • Issue a refund to your original payment method, or

    • Credit your customer account for future purchases.

  • Shipping fees are non-refundable, unless the return is due to an error on our part (e.g., wrong or defective item).
  • Refunds may take 5–10 working days to process, depending on your bank.

4. Delivery & Risk

  • We always do our best to deliver on time, but delivery dates are estimates and not guaranteed.
  • Risk of loss or damage passes to you once delivery is made to your nominated address or carrier.

5. Warranty

  • Our products are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty (where applicable).
  • Maple Leaf Electrical Supplies’ liability is limited to the value of the product purchased.
  • We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages arising from the use of our products.

6. Customer Responsibility

  • By placing an order, you confirm that the person signing for the delivery is authorized to do so.
  • You agree to indemnify Maple Leaf Electrical Supplies against any claims, losses, or damages arising from misuse or unauthorized use of products purchased.
