The 0.75kW Submersible Clean Water Pump (HCWS-750-1.5IN) is a
fully submersible 1HP clean water pump designed for installation
directly inside water tanks, reservoirs, sumps, shallow boreholes
and wet wells — delivering reliable water transfer and pressure
supply in South African residential, agricultural and light
commercial water supply applications.
Unlike surface-mounted pumps that are installed above the water
source, this submersible pump is designed to operate fully
submerged — making it ideal for JoJo tank bottom transfer,
reservoir emptying, shallow borehole water supply and any
application where the pump needs to be installed inside the
water source itself.
Rated IP68 for complete, continuous submersion protection,
the HCWS-750-1.5IN delivers a maximum flow rate of 280 litres
per minute with a maximum head of 20 metres through a DN40
(1.5 inch) discharge connection — with a 10 metre power cable
included for installation flexibility.
Submersible vs Surface Pump — Which Do You Need?
- Submersible Pump (this pump) — installs inside the water
source. Best for JoJo tanks, reservoirs, shallow boreholes
and wet wells. Self-priming not required. Quieter operation.
- Surface Pump — installs above the water source. Best for
pressure boosting from tanks and irrigation. Can pump from
further away. Easier to access for maintenance.
