The MTD8 is a 30A 16 On/Off Digital Programmable Timer that is easy-to-use, quick to set and will maximise your savings. When installing the MTD8 for the first time, press the reset button to activate the timer.
The introduction of a timer will improve your energy savings up to 66%. Switching the geyser/hot water system off/on manually is not good practice as circuit breakers are not designed to be switched often and will eventually damage which can be costly to replace.
